Q: What are the advantages of using your service?
A: Your yard will stay clean as often as you choose. It is healthier for you and your pet. Please see our “Why Use Us” page. It is one less job for you or a family member to do.
Q: When my lawn maintenance guy mows the yard, doesn't that clean up the poop?
A: No, this spreads parasites over the entire lawn and this causes them to become airborne.
Q: Why your concern with our dog's health?
A: We're pet owners too. And we've dedicated our business to the health of your pet, you, and your family.
Q: What does my dog's poop have to do with my health?
A: In addition to viruses and bacteria, the stool could contain other parasites like Hookworm and Roundworm. These are zoonotic pests – that is, they can infect people as well as your pet. Dog poop is especially dangerous for pregnant ladies and small children who play in the yard. It could be said that cleanliness is our most important product! Q: Who does the scooping?
A: At Your Service America LLC is a family owned and operated business. As business increases, we may contract trusted family friends to help out. For your protection, and other reasons…We do not hire day laborers.
Q: What if I haven't cleaned my yard in a while?
A: No matter how long it has been, At Your Service America LLC will clean your yard to perfection in a timely manner.

Q: Where do you clean?
A: We clean grass, rocks, and cement. Anywhere there is pet waste.
Q: Is it required that I be at home when you provide service?
A: For the first visit, if your dog(s) is(are) kept inside we can provide the service without you being present. Otherwise, on the initial visit you must be home. Once your dog(s) and I have gotten to know one another, and if they like me, you will not need to be present. Our service is designed to be a convenience for you. We only need access to your yard with your “friendly” dog(s).
Q: Can we leave our dog(s) in the yard while you service it?
A: Yes, we welcome your dog(s) in the area as long as they welcome us. We get along well with most social dogs, but there are some breeds that may be of potential risk or some dogs that will not let us into the yard. If your dog(s) are territorial or aggressive and do not want us in the yard, then you will need to keep them confined. Please remember to close off your doggie door. Also, some dogs who are normally friendly, may be aggressive when the owners are not present. If you know your dog is not comfortable with strangers, we ask that you keep your dog inside or otherwise restrained. If you think your dog is friendly, but we discover otherwise, we will notify you. In any case, if the dog(s) doesn't want us in the yard, we will not service the yard and we will call you prior to leaving. We don’t want to take unnecessary risk with your dog(s) or ourselves.
Q: Do you do one time only clean-ups?
A: Yes, we provide one time and short term service. There are no minimum service visit requirements. This is a great value for special events like birthday parties, weddings, graduations, etc. Please see the rate page for pricing.
Q: Do I have to sign a service contract?
A: No service contract is needed. However, we do require a New Customer Service Request Agreement for the purpose of giving us permission to access and service your yard. If you need to stop service you may simply tell your technician or email us. However, there are no refunds on paid amounts. We will continue service until all of your paid services are completed. (Of course exceptions will be made for circumstances beyond your control. - i.e. death or hospitalization of your pet, etc.) You may gift your visits to a friend or family member as long as they are in our service area.
Q: How often will At Your Service America LLC come out to service my yard?
A: Most customers prefer a once a week or twice weekly service visit. At your request we can arrange other service schedules. Service frequency is tailored to each customer according to their needs. For service frequency visits and rates, please refer to our rates page on our website.
Q: Will it be possible to skip a service visit?
A: Absolutely. We know most people need to go on vacation sometime. You only need to call us or send an email 48 hours in advance of your next scheduled visit. If you need to skip several service visits, please also let us know 48 hours in advance so that we may place a hold on your account and not invoice you for the scheduled skipped visits. Since you pre-pay with our service, if the skipped visit(s) have already been paid, they will be used in the next billing cycle.
Q: How does At Your Service America LLC bill for service?
A: All services are paid in advance. Our invoices are sent by email (when possible) or through regular mail on or about the 1st of each month and payment is due by the 10th of the same month. We accept cash and checks. (Echecks, credit card payment in person, credit card payment over the phone, on-line, and Pay-Pal are all coming soon.) We reserve the right to suspend service after the 10th of the month if your payment is not yet received. If services have already been completed for the current invoiced month (1st – 10th) a $15 late fee will be assessed.
Q: How do I pay for the service?
A: At Your Service America LLC tries to make this as convenient as possible for their customers. You currently have two payment options. We accept cash or check. You may mail us a check to our address listed on several pages of this web site and on the "Contact Us" page, you may pay us in person on your next scheduled service visit, or you may leave a check or cash for us on your next scheduled service visit. If you choose to leave cash hidden for us on your property we are not responsible for that cash until we have retrieved it and left you a receipt. (Echecks, credit card payment in person, credit card payments over the phone, on-line, and Pay-Pal are all coming soon.)
Q: What is your policy if I am unable to pay or there is an unforeseen event?
A: With prior arrangements we will try to work with you. However, we reserve the right to suspend service after the 10th of the month if your payment is not yet received, a $15 late fee will be assessed for services already completed.

A: No refunds. They are not needed with our 100% Customer Service Satisfaction Guarantee. (Of course exceptions will be made for circumstances beyond your control. - i.e. death or hospitalization of your pet, etc.)
Q: Do you have a Customer Service Satisfaction Guarantee?
A: You bet we do. Our satisfaction guarantee is our professional commitment that you will be happy with our service. We will service your yard by removing dog poop, bagging it, and disposing of it in your trash receptacle. We strive for excellence in service, and as such, should you ever feel that you did not receive the service you expect from At Your Service America LLC, our policy is to return to your property to re-clean your yard to your satisfaction at no charge. After all, you already paid…you must be happy with our service. To take advantage of our Customer Service Satisfaction Guarantee you must notify us of your concern on the same day we completed the service. We know our business depends on doing quality work for you, and this is our commitment to you. We will work hard to make sure that you get more than you are paying for. Our reputation is almost as important to us as your satisfaction with our work.
Q: What do you mean by please make sure all poop piles are accessible?
A: By this we mean that the yard isn't cluttered with items that would prevent us from picking up the poop, or items that are hiding the poop from view. We don't crawl under things, such as vehicles, construction items, etc. We do not move other personal property such as children’s toys, (or adult toys) but we will do our best to reach piles with our equipment. We have to be able to see it to scoop it! Our Customer Service Satisfaction Guarantee does not apply to “Hide and Go Seek” poop.
Q: How does weather affect At Your Service America LLC service visits?
A: We work through light rain and slightly windy weather days. However monsoons and dust storms may cause us to have to re-schedule your visit, of course at no charge to you. We will make up the service visit within the week in most cases or contact you to reschedule a service visit. If you are a twice a week customer and weather causes your service to only be accomplished once in a given week your missed service visit will be credited on your next invoice.
Q: How do holidays affect At Your Service America LLC service visits?
A: We do not work on the following days: New Years Day, Presidents Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Since we are a small, home-based, family business there may occasionally be additional holidays or other days we need to take off due to family schedules. However, in most cases if this happens we will notify you in advance and schedule a make up service visit within the week or we will contact you to reschedule a service visit. If your regularly scheduled visit falls on a holiday we will do your service as close to that day as possible.
Q: How do you dispose of the waste picked up?
A: We double bag the pet waste and dispose of it in your trash receptacle in compliance with all local rules and regulations.
Q: Can I request service on a particular day?
A: We strive to please our customers while keeping our prices low, and in some limited cases this might be possible. We normally let you know which days we are in your area and you MAY be able to choose from those days. Since we have a large service area a specially requested day may cause us to have to drive two to three times as far, or more. If we agree to do this it will only be after you have agreed to an increased fee for that visit to cover our additional operating costs. However, we must provide services in the most efficient manner possible to meet all of our customers’ clean up needs. Remember, we all like low prices with great service, to keep our prices as low as possible; we must schedule our routes as efficiently as possible.
Q: Do you have anything that will get rid of the bad smell in our yard?
A: Not at this time. However, we are currently researching various chemicals to see if they actually do what they say they do. We are researching disinfectants as well as odor eliminators that are all natural, safe for your pets, trees, grass and entire yard. These products are applied as a fine spray mist that is applied on landscape rocks, grass, concrete patios, and even furniture. If you would like to volunteer to be one of our trial yards and provide us feedback on how well the products work please let us know using the "Contact Us" page.
Q: Why do you suggest we be home the first time you service our yard?

We don't allow anyone from At Your Service America LLC to jump/climb fences! The neighbors may actually call the police…The police don’t take too kindly to fence jumping!
Q: What happens if we forget to give you access to our yard?
A: We will try calling you for access, so it's very important we have a good contact number. If we must wait an extended amount of time we will have to charge a wait fee which is twice the price of your visit. (We are loosing money if we are not working.) If we can't reach you, due to the high price of gasoline, we will charge you the normal fee for the trip. We will leave an At Your Service America LLC “service attempted” door hanger. We will contact you later to arrange your next service.
Q: Why do you require a gated or open yard in order for you to provide service?
A: We have equipment we must use and it would not be appropriate to carry that through your home.
Q: How will I know At Your Service America LLC has completed my service visit?
A: We will be there on the scheduled day unless you receive a phone call/email from us advising otherwise. Also, you will notice your yard is clean and at the end of each service, our technicians will leave an At Your Service America LLC “service completed” door hanger on your front door to let you know that your yard has been cleaned of pet waste.
Q: How will I know if service was attempted but not completed?
A: Just like a completed service call, if service was attempted but not completed, our technicians will leave an At Your Service America LLC “service attempted” door hanger on your front door to let you know that service was attempted.
Q: What about yard sprinklers?
A: When we arrive, if sprinklers are on, or they come on during the service, we will not complete the service. Due to the high price of fuel, we will have to charge you for the visit.
Q: Do you work year round?
A: Yes, we offer our service all year long.
Q: Do you clean litter boxes?
A: We do not provide this service at this time.
